Tapes from previous conferences are available for borrowing by families/carers of VCFS individuals.

Note: A List of the Conference tapes and topics will be available on here shortly. This way, you can borrow tapes on topics that are of specific interest to you.

  • Inspiring Minds (Margaret Laird), an Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Consultant some parents in the group have engaged (privately and via funding) and have found very helpful with their children.
  • As further information comes to hand on private professionals the group have found helpful, we will update this site.

Chat Groups

Joining the daily List from the USA.doc – this can get quite interesting at times, then at other times it goes off on a tangent. Do not take everything that is said on this to heart, as there have been times when things have got out of hand or are just an opinion of an individual.

Children's Health Groups – this site is untested by the group, but looks interesting.

Lifespan Management Document

The following document has been put together to outline the timeline of VCFS, explaining the developmental stages. It includes guidelines for health practitioners regarding recommended clinical practice involving screening procedures and coordination of care. The guidelines are compiled from a consensus of best practice from published guidelines and are reviewed by NZ sub-specialists.

This document can be used by families to print and take along to appointments with specialist providers.
